Offspring, procreation and all things babies

I've always been very child-friendly, even when I was myself a child I loved babies! As the years have gone on I've gotten more sensible about it all, and no longer want to have more than the average 2 or 3 children. I've been with my partner for about 4 years now, we were married last year, and have been enjoying the "honeymoon" period. I'm not and have never been particularly career-orientated, I'm a travelling free-spirit and have travelled quite heavily over the years. Emigrating from time to time, finding new cultures to suck up like some kind of vampire. Now I've been settled for about 3 years, or that's to say I've lived in one country for 3 years, as you will know if you've read any of my other blogs I've moved inside the city around 7 or 8 times in the space of 2 years which had gotten very difficult to handle. Anyway, moving on... (pardon the pun)... I'm closing into the big 3-0 and I find myself thinking heavily about having children. Which has sent me into a spiral of both longing and sensations of guilt, but also I've been searching online all week for anything to do with babies. Here's some of my results. Sugar Plum Tree, a snazzy webpage that sells lots of lovely baby equipment, and the most gorgeous nappy/diaper bags I've seen so far. The Retro Baby, a funky unique webpage full of funky and unique baby clothes, all of which make me want to procreate! Fuzzi Bunz, cloth diapers/nappies here at BabyKind, for the environmental minded mother and father who don't mind washing, rinsing and reusing these adorable cloth diapers. If I have my way, my husband is going to have to get used to them! Here's a personal favourite of mine, Make Baby Stuff, why spend lots of money buying things for your baby when you can make them! Anyway, while I work through my guilt for wanting children before the time is right, enjoy these wonderful webpages for those of you lucky enough to be expecting babies!
