About Ms Kirkland

I would like to introduce myself.
I am Ms Davita Alexandra Kirkland, currently of West Coast, Great Britain. Previously of Bergen, Norway, Koekelare, West Flanders, Belgium; Vallentuna, Stockholm, Sweden; Roquetas De Mar, Almería, Spain; originally of Wrexham, North Wales, Great Britain, with a few detours in between.

You might call me well-travelled!

I'm in my¨thirties (at the time of writing), I've been married, I'm now separated, the only children in my life are the ones I've adopted as nieces and nephews.

I've been writing fiction since about the age of 7 years old. I've been blogging for a little over 9 years, and I hope that I've improved, but who the heck knows!

Writing is my passion!

Ms Kirkland's Adventures in Singleness is my corner of the web where I hope to inspire creativity in everyday life. My mission:

• Is to work to live, instead of living to work.
• Is to write about my domestic life, and the creative things that help me make that domestic life. 
• Is to make this blog into a resource of building projects, art projects, sewing and knitting projects, recipes and other things.
